U.S. Senator John Cornyn from Texas recently toured the Fox Tank Company manufacturing facility in Kerrville, Texas. Other tour guests included Senator Cornyn’s wife Sandy and local elected officials. Senator Cornyn has been a great supporter for the Texas Shale Development and job creation for our state. The Senator’s tour of Fox Tank Company of Kerrville included a tour of the manufacturing facility and a visit with company workers. Fox Tank Company of Kerrville is an approved API 12F Tank Manufacturer (#0092) and ASME Certified # 46,578 for the production of pressure vessels. Today, Fox Tank Company of Kerrville and Albany, Texas employs over 95 people and provides its products/services to multiple Texas Shale plays.

Congressman Smith is very supportive of the Eagle Ford Development and of the tank manufacturing facility located in Kerrville, Texas. The Fox Tank Company of Kerrville employees over sixty people and is the only approved API 12F Monogram Tank Manufacturer actually located in the Alamo Area Region of Governments (over 13 counties, mostly Eagle Ford connected). Congressman Smith supports strong regional economic development efforts (like Fox Tank Company) in District 21  that creates jobs and assists higher wages for workers.

Fox Tank Company Awarded the American Petroleum Institute Certificate (API-12F) for the Manufacturing of Oil Field Storage Tanks

On July 11, 2013, Fox Tank Company of Kerrville, Texas was awarded the American Petroleum Institute (API-12F) certification. This designation establishes the company standards with the highest quality system and safety procedures conforming specifically manufactured tanks in the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industry.

To receive the API-12F certification, Fox Tank Company met a series of standards that govern every aspect of the company’s management, design and manufacturing activities. By operating in conformance with these standards, Fox Tank Company has improved identifying customer requirements, designing and developing products. The API-12F certification process required the implementation of procedural changes, training, increased documentation and adjustments to operating systems of every level of the manufacturing process. It took approximately fourteen months to obtain the API-12F certification.
Fox Tank Company of Kerrville has API-12F certified products which include 210, 300, 400, 500 & 750 BBL. oil field storage tanks. The company also offers a variety of separator equipment including horizontal & vertical heater treaters, 2-phase and 3-phase gas separators and water knockouts. Plans are currently underway for a new ASME operation in Kerrville targeted for completion late 2013. Fox Tank Company Hosts “Legends Classic” Golf Tournament with Pro Football Players

June 22,2013

Fox Tank Company’s Pro Football “Legends Classic” Golf Tournament was held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Comanche Trace in Kerrville, TX. Participants included 20 former pro football players (13 of which were Hall of Famers); Cullen Loeffler, currently in his 10th year as long snapper for the Minnesota Vikings (former UT All-American & formerly of Ingram Tom Moore H.S.); Rayfield Wright, legendary offensive lineman for the Dallas Cowboys; many oil & gas industry leaders from the Texas Shale Plays and several Texas businessmen and women.

The tournament featured over 120 players and was followed by a dinner and concert from musician legend, Robert Earl Keen of Kerrville. Proceeds from the tournament were used to assist three non-profit organizations: CAMP of Center Point, Hill Country Youth Orchestra and the Rayfield Wright Foundation of Dallas.

On May 17, 2013, Texas Railroad Commission Chairman Barry Smitherman took a tour of Fox Tank Company’s new state-of-the-art manufacturing location in Kerrville, Texas. Our new facility is the only API Tank Manufacturing/Supplier location in AACOG 12-county area mostly Eagle Ford related.
